Curiosity loves trying new things. It's a powerful state of being that can drive us to explore, learn, and understand the world around us. It plays a crucial role in creativity by sparking new ideas, encouraging experimentation, fostering a mindset of openness, possibility and gaining new perspective. We practice a curious state of mind when we paint.

How can we harness curiosity to work with our creativity?

• Ask Questions: Curiosity thrives on questions. When we encounter a creative block, start asking gentle questions.

• Embrace Uncertainty: Curiosity often involves a willingness to embrace the unknown. Instead of feeling stuck by a lack of knowing, see it as an opportunity, or an invitation to explore different possibilities. Experiment and be open to what naturally unfolds.

• Challenge Assumptions: Creative blocks can sometimes arise from fixed stories we tell ourselves. Curiosity encourages us to challenge these stories and explore different perspectives and ways of thinking.
