Date to Create: The Intimate Art of Co-Creation

$150.00
sold out

Are you ready for more meaningful ways to connect with your partner?
Are you tired and bored of the same old options?
Do you want to create an experience together?

Play is intimately and intricately connected with creativity, daring, boldness, and risk-taking—all things that invite the unknown and lead to more pleasure, connection, creativity, and fantasy (Esther Perel).

Join Elissa and Nicole for an intimate night of playful co-creation where they will blend their crafts of process painting and couples counseling to help turn your date-night into play-date night.

In this workshop we will:

*Encourage play by trying something new together to jumpstart emotional connection.
*Paint a canvas and get creative - Creative thinking and problem solving lends itself to a deeper connection.
*Engage in deep listening as our partner shares their thoughts and experiences.
*Be introduced to Imago Relationship Theory such as Mirroring.
*Leave with a one of a kind canvas and experience.

Elissa is a Licensed Art Therapist and owner of Wild and Free Painting, an indulgent and nourishing Process Painting Art Studio for self-care and personal growth. Here we focus on the act of painting itself and your experience while painting rather than the final art product. We celebrate your creativity in all of its authentic form and return to the idea that creative expression can serve as a tool to heal, connect, de-stress, reclaim and discover.

Nicole is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the owner of Mindful Therapy of Monmouth County where she specializes in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Eriksonian Hypnosis, Psychodrama, Imago Relationship Couples Therapy and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP).
