Date to Create: The Intimate Art of Co-Creation

  • Wild & Free Painting 801C Main Street Belmar, NJ 07719 (map)

Are you ready for more meaningful ways to connect with your partner?

Are you tired and bored of the same old options?

Do you want to create an experience together?

Play is intimately and intricately connected with creativity, daring, boldness, and risk-taking—all things that invite the unknown and lead to more pleasure, connection, creativity, and fantasy (Esther Perel).

Join Elissa and Nicole for an intimate night of playful co-creation where they blend their crafts of process painting and couples therapy to turn your date-night into a play-date.

In this workshop we will:

  • Encourage play by trying something new together which can reignite excitement and invigorate your relationship.

  • Paint a canvas and get creative - Creative thinking and problem solving lends itself to a deeper connection.

  • Engage in mindful listening as your partner shares their thoughts and experiences.

  • Be introduced to Imago Relationship Theory and learn and practice the key element of “Mirroring.”

  • Leave with a one of a kind canvas and experience.
